Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ApexConverter. They are written to be read, not to be skipped — the disclaimers in sections 6 and 7 are particularly important.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ApexConverter (the “Service”), operated by ApexConverter Quantitative Systems (“we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept them, you must discontinue use of the Service.

These terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy and Security Policy.

2. Description of Service

The Service provides free access to 1,000 online calculators and unit converters across 20 categories. All computation is performed client-side within your browser. No account is required and no fee is charged for standard access.

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool at any time. Because tools execute locally, a page already loaded in your browser will continue to function even if we withdraw it from publication.

3. Permitted Use

You may:

• Use any calculator for personal, educational, professional, and commercial purposes at no cost.
• Incorporate outputs into your own documents, reports, models, and client deliverables.
• Export schedules and results generated by the tools for your own records.
• Link to any page on the Service without seeking permission.
• Quote short excerpts of our written content with clear attribution and a followed link to the source page.

4. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Systematically scrape, crawl at abusive rates, or bulk-download the Service or its content.
• Copy, republish, or redistribute our calculator implementations, written content, or design as your own work.
• Resell access to the Service or present it as a proprietary product.
• Remove, obscure, or alter attribution, copyright notices, or the engineering credit.
• Attempt to compromise, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service's infrastructure, or probe it for vulnerabilities outside the safe-harbour terms of our Security Policy.
• Use the Service in violation of applicable law, or to develop a directly competing calculator directory using our content as source material.

5. Embedding and Licensing

Editorial and non-commercial embedding by iframe is permitted provided a visible, followed attribution link to the source tool page on apexconverter.com is retained adjacent to the embed, and the tool is not modified or reframed to imply original authorship.

Commercial and white-label licensing — including removal of attribution, custom branding, or integration into a paid product — requires a written agreement. Enquire through our Contact page.

6. No Professional Advice

Specifically: finance and mortgage tools do not constitute lending or investment advice and do not represent an offer of credit; tax tools do not constitute tax advice and statutory parameters vary by jurisdiction and change frequently; health and clinical tools are informational only and must never replace evaluation by a qualified clinician, particularly with respect to dosing; engineering and construction tools produce preliminary estimates that must be validated by a licensed engineer against applicable codes before any physical work proceeds.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

While every engine is verified against reference implementations and reviewed by a named specialist, we do not warrant that outputs will be error-free, uninterrupted, or appropriate to your specific circumstances. Outputs are a deterministic function of the inputs you supply and of documented modelling assumptions that may not match your situation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApexConverter Quantitative Systems and its personnel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, and regardless of whether we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to use the Service (which is zero) or USD 100. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Intellectual Property

All original written content, calculator implementations, methodology documentation, interface design, and the ApexConverter name and marks are owned by ApexConverter Quantitative Systems and protected by copyright and related rights. Underlying mathematical formulas and scientific principles are not proprietary; our specific expression, documentation, and code implementation of them are.

The engineering credit — “Engineered & Developed by Zeta Digilux Labs” — must be retained in any permitted reproduction or embed of the Service's interface.

10. Third-Party Content and Advertising

The Service displays contextual advertising and may link to third-party sites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, policies, or practices. Inclusion of a link or advertisement does not constitute endorsement. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ApexConverter Quantitative Systems and its personnel from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

12. Governing Law and Changes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict of law principles, and without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections available to you locally.

We may revise these terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the version and date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after revision constitutes acceptance. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in full force.
